I had a bit of a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, while having a nice pool terrace, were a bit dated and in need of refurbishment. The noise from the restaurant nearby was a downside, making it hard to rate the hotel very highly overall.

The rooms have a sliding door that opens onto the pool terrace, with chairs and a couch under a hurricane proof awning. However, they were a bit dated and could do with a refurb.

The service was incredible, with a helpful staff offering room service, dry cleaning, laundry, and valet parking.

The location was ideal, walking distance for his meeting and close to bank and other shopping. However, there was a bit of an issue with a wait of more than 30 minutes to collect from the valet.

The dining experience was a bit disappointing in a room off of their restaurant with high noise volume. The head waiter was outstanding, but the noise level overshadowed the experience.

My stay at JW Marriott Miami had its ups and downs. The location is great for safe evening strolls and close proximity to the port of Miami, but the rooms fell short despite multiple attempts to improve them. The service was lacking, especially in housekeeping, although some amenities like room service were available.
